Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño BID 2020

I'm going to make a copy paste of the biennial page, to tell you what it is, where it comes from and who organizes it:

The Bienal Iberoamericana de Diseño (BID), organized by the Madrid Design Foundation, takes place every two years at the Central de Diseño de Matadero Madrid, a contemporary creation center promoted by the Government Area of Culture and Sports of the Madrid City Council, and It is the most important appointment of contemporary Ibero-American design.

The central exhibition of the BID shows, concentrated, the best expressions of recent design from Latin America, Spain and Portugal and is made up of around 400 works by designers from all areas of Design.

This year 2020 has its seventh edition.

In general, I am so busy that I have always missed the call, but this year, as the rhythm is different, I was encouraged to send a small sample of NOMELLAMO's work from the last two years.

A week ago we received an email telling us that these works will be part of the design works that represent Costa Rica.

The truth is we are very excited and very happy too.

This time we present mini collections:

Pinto with egg

Guardians of the forests

Congos

Amulets

Also, now we are going to be finalists!

The jury is international and includes designers and professionals related to the world of design in general of the height of Fernando and Humberto Campana, the architect Paola Antonelli, Anna Burckhardt, Ti Chang, Marisa Gallén, Stiven Kerestegian, Danielle Lafaurie, Chaz Maviyane-Davies, Marina Willer.

We are in a state of excitement and fright that is difficult to describe!

You can visit the Biennial page to learn more about the great work they do in favor of design in iberoamerica.
