Ibero-American Design Biennial IDB 2020
I'm going to make a copy paste of the biennial page, to tell you what it is, where it comes from and who organizes it:
The Ibero-American Design Biennial (IDB), organized by theMadrid Design Foundation, takes place every two years at the Central Design of Matadero Madrid, a contemporary creation center promoted by the Government of Culture and Sports Area of the City of Madrid, and is the most important event of Ibero-American contemporary design.
The IDB's core exhibition shows, concentrated, the best expressions of recent design in Latin America, Spain and Portugal and consists of around 400 works by designers from all areas of Design.
This year 2020 has its seventh edition.
I am usually so busy that I have always passed the call, but this year, as the pace is different, I was encouraged to send a small sample of NOMELLAMO's work over the last two years.
A week ago we received an email informing us that these works will be part of the design work that represents Costa Rica.
The truth is very excited and very happy too.
On this occasion we present mini collections:
I paint with egg
Guardians of the woods.
Besides, we're runner-up now!
The jury is international and has designers and professionals related to the general design world of Fernando and Humberto Campana, architect Paola Antonelli, Anna Burckhardt, Ti Chang, Marisa Gallén, Stiven Kerestegian, Danielle Lafaurie, Chaz Maviyane-Davies, Marina Willer.
We are in a state of emotion and scare difficult to describe!
You can visit the Biennial page to learn more about the great work they do for design in Latin America
